Supplier count continues to be stable

WASHINGTON - The number of suppliers from Jan. 1, 2019, to Jan. 1, 2020, has remained stable, according to AAHomecare's latest supplier tracking sheet. The decrease in the number of suppliers since 2010, however, continues to be 35%. The number of suppliers was 9,195 in Jan. 1, 2019, vs. 9,154 on Jan. 1, 2020. The number of suppliers in November 2010: 14,066.
AAH: Updates supplier counts, comments on rural areas

WASHINGTON - AAHomecare has found that, while the number of unique companies is down 37% and the number of locations is down 35% since 2010, the data for October 2019 is virtually unchanged from January 2019. The number of unique companies increased from 6,143 to 6,180 and the number of locations from 9,195 to 9,196, according to the association.
