Stricter AO oversight could increase cost, compliance burden on providers

YARMOUTH, Maine – CMS is proposing stricter requirements for accrediting organizations (AOs), including increasing the amount, specificity and frequency of data they must submit to the agency. Accreditation proposals packed with potential burdens
