WASHINGTON - The board of directors of America's Health Insurance Plans has elected Marilyn Tavenner, the former administrator of CMS, as its president and CEO. The appointment is raising eyebrows on Capitol Hill, with Tavenner now representing and lobbying on behalf of large health insurers that are regulated by CMS.
