When The VGM Group's Jim Walsh asked attendees how many of them were at The Heartland Conference for the first time, about one-third of the room raised its hands. Considering the event is in its ninth year, that's pretty impressive. During the keynote address, Bill Klein, co-star of the TLC series "The Little Couple" and COO of Emerge Sales, talked about overcoming adversity.
